FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, DUTSE (FUDUTSE) ANNOUNCES SECOND SEMESTER MID-SEMESTER BREAK FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to formally bring to the notice of all academic and non-academic staff members, as well as all undergraduate and postgraduate students, that the University Management has reviewed the progress of the current semester. Following due consultations, the Management has officially approved a one (1) week Mid-Semester break for the ongoing Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

​This scheduled recess is slated to commence on Monday 6th July, 2026 and will run through until Sunday 12th July, 2026.

​Please be informed that this administrative directive is in strict accordance and full compliance with the newly adjusted, Senate-approved Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The break is designed to provide students with a necessary recess period before concluding the remaining parts of the academic term.

​RESUMPTION OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

​Following the conclusion of the one-week recess, all normal academic activities, lectures, and departmental assignments for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 session will fully continue on Monday 13th July, 2026. Students are expected to return promptly and be fully prepared for the resumption of their studies.

​CRITICAL ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE:

Please note that this particular circular and the holiday recess period affect only the academic activities of students. All administrative offices, technical units, and routine staff operations will continue to function normally during this period.
