FEDERAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, OKENE ANNOUNCES 2026 DEGREE ADMISSION PROGRAMME
The Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene, in collaboration with Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has formally ratified the commencement of admissions for the 2026 Degree Programme. This partnership offers suitably qualified candidates the opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s degree in various education-based disciplines while studying at the Okene campus.
The institution is currently inviting applications across a broad spectrum of Science, Social Science, Management, and Art disciplines, designed to produce high-caliber educators for the Nigerian school system.

The degree options are categorized into four main blocks of study. Candidates are encouraged to select courses that align with their O’Level and NCE backgrounds.

STATUTORY ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The admission pathways are divided based on the candidate’s entry-level qualifications.
The 4-Year Programme (Direct Entry/NCE Holders)

NCE Requirement: Credit or Merit pass in at least two (2) NCE major subjects.

O’Level Requirement: Five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
The 5-Year Programme (O’Level/OND Holders)

O’Level Requirement: Minimum of five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

Special Note: NCE or OND holders may also apply for this category depending on their O’Level standing.
Specific Course Prerequisites

Mathematics: A credit pass is compulsory for all Science-based courses.

English Education: Requires a credit in Literature in English.

Agricultural Science: Specifically requires a credit pass in Chemistry.
