The management of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has officially released the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Admission Form for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its various undergraduate programmes.

The university has announced that online registration for the screening exercise will commence on Friday, July 3, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period, as only applicants who successfully complete the online screening process will be considered for admission.

Unlike previous years, EKSU will not conduct a written Post-UTME examination. Admission will be based solely on the online screening of candidates’ UTME scores, O’Level results, and other submitted credentials.

ELIGIBILITY

The EKSU 2026/2027 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form is available to:

  • Candidates who selected Ekiti State University (EKSU) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME but did not initially choose EKSU as their first choice and are willing to change their institution to EKSU through the JAMB Change of Institution process.
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission into EKSU.

Please Note: Candidates awaiting the release of their O’Level results are not eligible to apply until their results have been released and uploaded.

EKSU MINIMUM UTME CUT-OFF MARKS

Applicants must meet the approved minimum UTME score for their preferred programme.

Candidates who do not meet the required score for any of the above programmes are advised to consider other courses for which they are qualified.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for admission, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
  • Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics where applicable.
  • O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • Direct Entry applicants must satisfy the University’s admission requirements for their chosen programme.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates should complete their application by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official EKSU admission portal.
  2. Create an application account using a valid email address and active phone number.
  3. Log in to complete the online Post-UTME/DE application form.
  4. Pay the prescribed screening fee through the approved online payment platform.
  5. Upload a recent passport photograph in JPEG format with a red background.
  6. Upload your O’Level result(s) (maximum of two sittings).
  7. Carefully review all information entered before submission.
  8. Submit the application and print the screening acknowledgement slip for future reference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applicants should note the following:

  • EKSU accepts JUPEB with a minimum of seven (7) points for Direct Entry admission.
  • Candidates using NECO results must complete the required result verification process.
  • All information provided during registration must correspond with the details on the JAMB portal.
  • Candidates who provide false information or fail to participate in the online screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

WHY APPLY EARLY?

Prospective students are encouraged to complete their application as early as possible to avoid last-minute technical issues and to allow sufficient time to correct any errors before the registration portal closes.

Candidates should also ensure that all required documents are properly uploaded and that their O’Level results are available on the JAMB CAPS portal to enhance their chances of securing admission.

The management of Ekiti State University wishes all applicants success in the 2026/2027 admission exercise and advises them to regularly visit the University’s official portal for updates on the admission process.
