Admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Program 2026/2027 academic session. Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki announces the sale of forms for IJMB program 2026/2027 academic session into the Institution. Applications are, therefore, invited from suitably qualified candidates of the public for admission into the program.

The program leads to the award of IJMB certificate which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into Ebonyi State University and other Universities within and outside the country without JAMB/UTME.

IJMB program takes successful candidates to their dream departments/courses in 200 level such as: Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory. Law, Political Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture etc. It is the best alternative route to gaining admission into Universities in Nigeria. Below are subject combinations available to candidates:

SUBJECT COMBINATIONS:

SCIENCES:

Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Agricultural Science.

MANAGEMENT SCIENCES:

Accounting, Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics.

SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES:

Government, Literature, CRK and History

DURATION OF THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM:

The academic program runs for a minimum of one academic session of two semesters.

ENTRY QUALIFICATION:

For enrolment into the IJMB program the candidate is required to poses a minimum of five (5) O’level Credit passes which must include English Language and Mathematics in SSCE, NECO, GCE OR NABTEB, at one or two sittings.

Interested candidates are to purchase the application forms at the cost of Twenty Thousand naira only (N20,000.00) non-refundable, payable at:
