DENNIS OSADEBAY UNIVERSITY (DOU) RELEASES JUPEB ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION.
The management of Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Asaba, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The JUPEB programme is a standard, intensive one-year academic stream. Upon successful completion of the programme and passing the final examinations conducted by JUPEB, candidates will secure direct admission into the 200 level degree programmes of Dennis Osadebay University or other participating universities of their choice.

The JUPEB programme offers foundational training across various faculties. Candidates are prepared in specific subject combinations tailored to their intended undergraduate courses:
1. Arts and Humanities
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Creative Arts, English and Literary Studies, French, History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
2. Social and Behavioural Sciences
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Criminology and Security Studies, Economics, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
3. Management Sciences
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism, and Marketing.
4. Sciences, Computing, and Allied Health
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Nursing Science, Public Health, and Human Anatomy.
5. Environmental Sciences
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Architecture, Building, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, and Urban and Regional Planning.
6. Agriculture
Subject combinations leading to degrees in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Animal Production, and Crop Science.
Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Prospective JUPEB applicants must satisfy the following academic conditions:
O’Level Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at the SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent.
Core Subjects: The five credits must include English Language and Mathematics, alongside three other subjects related to the candidate’s chosen discipline.
Sitting Limits: These credit passes must be obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
