DSUST Weekend Programmes Degree admission, 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Delta State University of Science and Technology (DSUST), Ozoro, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Weekend Undergraduate and Direct Entry (200 Level) Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who may be working, running businesses, or unable to attend full-time programmes during the week, but still want to earn a university degree. The weekend programme is flexible, well-structured, and designed to allow students to balance their studies with work and other personal responsibilities.

Programme Duration

Undergraduate Degree Courses: 5 years (for candidates entering through UTME/SSCE).

Direct Entry Degree Courses: 4 years (for candidates entering with ND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications).

All programmes are fully recognized and lead to the award of Bachelor’s Degrees of DSUST.

Courses Available for Undergraduate Admission

Students who wish to enter at 100 level (through SSCE and UTME) can apply to any of the following faculties and departments:

General Admission Requirements (Undergraduate – 100 Level)

Applicants must:

1. Possess five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)

2. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

3. Meet the general UTME requirements for their chosen course.

Method of Application (Undergraduate – 100 Level)

1. Applicants are required to obtain a Bank Draft of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) in any deposit money bank (excluding microfinance banks

2. The draft should be made in favour of Southern Delta University, Ozoro.

3. After purchasing the bank draft, applicants must present it to the Bursary Department of the university to obtain an official receipt

4. With the receipt, applicants can proceed to the Admission Office to collect the application form.

Courses Available for Direct Entry Admission (200 Level)

Candidates who already have relevant qualifications and wish to start from 200 level can apply for the following programmes:

Faculty of Administration & Management

B.Sc. Business Administration

B.Sc. Public Administration

B.Sc. Marketing

Faculty of Computing

B.Sc. Computer Science

General Admission Requirements (Direct Entry – 200 Level)

Applicants must:

a. Possess five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in SSCE or its equivalent, obtained in not more than two sittings.

b. Hold one of the following qualifications with at least a Lower Credit Pass:

National Diploma (ND)

Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

Equivalent qualifications accepted by the university.

Method of Application (Direct Entry – 200 Level)

1. Applicants are required to obtain a Bank Draft of ₦15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) in any deposit money bank (excluding microfinance banks).

2. The draft should be made in favour of Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro.

3. The purchased bank draft should be submitted to the Bursary Department of the university to obtain an official receipt.

4. With the receipt, applicants can collect the application form from the Admission Office.
