DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY [DELSU] RELEASES CHANGE OF COURSE FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU), has announced vacancies in several undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The opportunity is available to candidates who scored below the cut-off marks of their initially chosen programmes and have not been admitted in the first batch.
Candidates who meet the requirements can change their course or programme in JAMB to one with a cut-off mark lower than their aggregate score and subsequently update the change on the university’s admission portal.

HOW TO APPLY FOR DELSU VACANCIES
Candidates who wish to take advantage of the available vacancies are required to follow the process below:
Step 1: Candidates should carry out a change of course/programme on the JAMB portal, selecting a programme whose cut-off mark is lower than their aggregate score.
Step 2: After completing the change on JAMB, candidates should visit the Delta State University admission portal to effect the change made on JAMB.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
Candidates are required to upload evidence of their change of course/programme on the JAMB portal to the university’s portal.
The new programme selected must have a cut-off mark lower than the candidate’s aggregate score. Candidates whose scores do not meet the cut-off mark of the newly selected programme will not be considered.
For example, the cut-off mark for Public Health is 50. Therefore, only candidates with an aggregate score of 50 and above who have not been admitted can change to Public Health.
Candidates must also ensure that their UTME and UME subjects align with the admission requirements of the new programme. Their O’Level results should also be uploaded on the JAMB portal.
DEADLINE FOR CHANGE OF COURSE
The commencement date for the change of course/programme is Friday, September 18, 2026, while the exercise will close on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Candidates who are yet to secure admission and meet the requirements for any of the listed programmes are advised to complete the necessary change of course process within the stated period.
