The management of Crescent University, Abeokuta, has announced the schedule for its 2025/2026 Convocation Ceremony, which will be held over two days in October 2026 due to the increased number of graduating students for the academic session.

The announcement was contained in a notice issued by the Office of the Registrar on 28th July, 2026.

According to the university, the revised arrangement is aimed at ensuring a smooth, well-organized, and memorable convocation ceremony for graduating students, their families, and invited guests.

Convocation Schedule

Day One

The first phase of the convocation ceremony will hold on:

• Date: Friday, 16th October, 2026

Graduating students from the following colleges will participate:

• College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CONAS)
• College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences (CASMAS)
• College of Environmental Sciences (COES)

The day’s activities will also feature the 2025/2026 Convocation Lecture.

Day Two

The second phase of the ceremony is scheduled as follows:

• Date: Saturday, 17th October, 2026

Graduands from the following colleges will receive their degrees:

• Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW)
• College of Health Sciences (COHES)
• College of Information and Communication Technology (CICOT)

The second day’s programme will also include:

• Conferment of Honorary Degrees
• PhD Hooding Ceremony
• Graduation of Postgraduate Students

Important Notice to Parents and Graduands

The university has advised parents, guardians, and all final-year students to take note of the revised convocation schedule and make the necessary travel and accommodation arrangements ahead of the ceremony.

Management explained that holding the convocation over two days became necessary due to the significant increase in the number of graduating students, adding that the arrangement will ensure a successful and hitch-free ceremony for all participants.

Graduating students are encouraged to continue monitoring the university’s official communication channels for further updates regarding convocation gowns, clearance procedures, collection of invitation cards, and other important guidelines.
