The University extends warm greetings to all students and congratulates those who have recently gained admission into the institution.

As the new academic year begins, the University reaffirms its commitment to providing a conducive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and moral discipline. Every new session comes with renewed expectations, and this one promises to be filled with exciting opportunities for growth, innovation, and community engagement.

🗓️ Official Resumption Dates

According to the University Academic Affairs Division, returning students are expected to resume on Sunday, October 12, 2025, while fresh students are to resume on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Returning students are encouraged to make adequate arrangements for their return to campus as lectures will commence shortly after resumption. Fresh students are equally advised to take note of their date of arrival and ensure they complete all necessary registration and clearance processes within the stipulated time frame.

The University community eagerly awaits the arrival of all students and looks forward to an engaging, disciplined, and productive session.

🏡 Important Notice: Hostel Balloting and Allocation Process

The management of Fountain University wishes to inform all students that the Hostel Balloting and Allocation Process for the 2025/2026 academic session will officially commence on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at exactly 10:00 AM via the student portal.

Students are advised to log in to their individual student accounts on the University portal to participate in the exercise. Hostel balloting will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are urged to act promptly to secure their accommodation preferences.

Once a hostel has been selected through the online platform, payment must be made within one (1) hour of selection. Failure to complete payment within the given timeframe will result in the automatic release of the selected bed space, allowing other students to access it.

This policy is designed to ensure fairness and proper allocation of available spaces, given the high demand for campus accommodation.

💳 Payment Guidelines and Requirements

All hostel payments should be made strictly through the official Fountain University student portal or at the designated University bank accounts. Students are cautioned against making payments through third parties or unauthorized channels.

For a smooth process, students should ensure they have:
1️⃣ A valid student login to access the portal.
2️⃣ Up-to-date payment of all previous fees and levies.
3️⃣ Reliable internet access to complete the hostel selection and payment process on time.

Once payment is confirmed, a digital receipt will be generated automatically. Students should print or download this receipt for presentation during physical clearance and hostel check-in.

⚠️ Outstanding Hostel Damage Fees

The University Hostel Management Committee has emphasized that students with outstanding hostel damage fees from the previous session will not be eligible to participate in the balloting exercise.

Such students are strongly advised to clear all outstanding payments before Tuesday, October 7, 2025, to avoid disruption during the allocation process.

The University frowns upon negligence regarding hostel responsibilities and encourages students to maintain a culture of care and accountability in all residential facilities.

🛏️ Automatic Room and Bedspace Assignment

Following the completion of the hostel payment, room and bedspace assignments will be automatic. Students are not required to manually select bed spaces. Instead, allocations will be processed by the system to ensure fairness and proper distribution of available spaces.

Upon arrival on campus, students will be guided by members of the Hostel Management Committee and the Student Affairs Division, who will help facilitate smooth check-in and orientation into the hostels.

All students are advised to adhere strictly to hostel rules and regulations to maintain a peaceful and conducive living environment.

📋 Guidelines for Fresh Students
