The National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially granted approval for the establishment of four new full-time academic programmes at the Federal University, Kashere (FUK) in Gombe State, beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session.
This marks a major step forward in FUK’s growth and academic expansion, especially as the university strengthens its position as one of Nigeria’s fast-developing federal institutions.
🧾 Background
According to the NUC, the approval followed a resource verification visit carried out by a team of experts from the Commission.
During the visit, the team thoroughly assessed the human and material resources — such as qualified lecturers, infrastructure, laboratory equipment, and facilities — available at the institution to ensure they meet the Commission’s minimum standards for the proposed programmes.
The findings from the verification exercise led to the Commission’s approval of the following degree programmes:

This is to inform the general public that the online sale of Postgraduate Application Forms for admission into Bayero University, Kano (BUK) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has commenced. The sale of forms began on Monday, 22nd September 2025 and will close on Sunday, 1st February 2026.
All interested and qualified applicants are to apply online through the university portal.

The cost of the postgraduate application form is ₦12,000 (Twelve Thousand Naira only)
(Non-refundable and inclusive of administrative charges)

✅ GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

Applicants for Ph.D and M.Phil programmes must ensure that their academic transcripts are sent directly to:

Candidates applying for Ph.D programmes must upload a research proposal (maximum of 350 words) on the online form. The proposal should include:

🖥️ HOW TO APPLY (STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE)
✔ STEP 1
Visit the application portal:
👉 https://mybuk3.buk.edu.ng/cpsforms2025/login.php
Click on Applications under the “Prospective Student” tab.
Log in using your Full Name and select “Applying for a Postgraduate Programme”.
A Username and Password will be generated. Keep them safe.
✔ STEP 2
Generate and print your BUK Personalized Payment Form (BUKPPF).
Pay the ₦12,000 application fee via the Remita e-Payment platform (www.remita.net).
Ensure that your personal details match those on the BUKPPF.
✔ STEP 3
Return to the portal and log in to complete the online application forms:

Qualifications Form
✔ STEP 4
Applicants for Ph.D, M.Phil, and Academic Masters must also complete the Transcript Request Form and send it to their previous institutions.
✔ STEP 5
Review all entered information carefully and click SUBMIT.
✔ STEP 6
Print your Acknowledgement Slip. Keep it safe—it will be required during screening and registration.

The Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Funtua (FUMHSF), Katsina State, has officially announced the commencement of its online Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who selected the university as their first choice in the 2025 UTME are invited to apply.

✅ ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have chosen FUMHSF as their first choice institution.

Must have scored 180 and above in the 2025 UTME.

Must have uploaded O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) on the JAMB CAPS.

Must possess a valid email address and phone number for registration.
