AJAYI CROWTHER UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES 17TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The Management of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, is delighted to announce its 17th Convocation Ceremony, scheduled to take place between Sunday, 23rd November, and Thursday, 27th November, 2025.

The grand event will celebrate the outstanding academic accomplishments of graduates across various levels — Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate Degrees — marking yet another milestone in the University’s pursuit of academic excellence and moral integrity.

Week-long Programme of Events

The convocation activities will commence with a Holy Communion Service on Sunday, 23rd November, 2025, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the celebration. Throughout the week, the University community and guests will enjoy a rich lineup of academic, cultural, and social events, including:

• Convocation Exhibition & Innovation Showcase

• Alumni Lecture and Reunion

• Vice-Chancellor’s Cup Final Football Match

One of the highlights of the celebration will be the Convocation Play, scheduled for Tuesday, 25th November, 2025, featuring an inspiring dramatic performance that reflects the University’s commitment to nurturing creativity and talent.

Convocation Lecture and Grand Finale

The Grand Finale of the 17th Convocation Ceremony will hold on Thursday, 27th November, 2025, featuring a Convocation Lecture to be delivered by the renowned historian and scholar, Professor Toyin Falola, FNAL.

The event will also witness the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Degrees, as well as the formal presentation of other academic honours and prizes to deserving graduates.
