AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KADUNA (AFIT) EXTENDS POST-UTME APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has announced an extension for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening application and the window for the change of institution.

​This extension provides an opportunity for prospective candidates who missed the initial registration window to complete their applications and secure eligibility for the upcoming screening exercise.

​New Deadlines and Timelines

​Candidates choosing AFIT are advised to take note of the following updated dates:

​Deadline for Change of Institution: Candidates wishing to switch their first-choice institution to AFIT via the JAMB portal must complete the process on or before 31st July, 2026.

​Deadline for Post-UTME Online Application: The portal for the submission of the online Post-UTME screening form will now officially close on 8th August, 2026.

​Important Instructions for Candidates

​First Choice Requirement: To be eligible for the screening, candidates must ensure that AFIT is successfully selected as their first-choice institution on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before the July 31 deadline.

​Application Completion: All prospective applicants must upload their O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) onto the JAMB portal and complete their registration on the official AFIT portal before the final closing date in August.
