ABDULLAHI FODIO UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, ALIERO RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of the Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA), formerly known as the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA), has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The University invites suitably qualified candidates who selected AFUSTA as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as well as qualified Direct Entry (DE) applicants, to register for the online screening exercise.
According to the management, the registration exercise will commence on Monday, 27th July, 2026 and close on Monday, 31st August, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates applying for the screening exercise must satisfy the following requirements:
UTME Candidates
Applicants must:
- Have selected Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA) as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB UTME registration.
- Obtain a minimum score of 150 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must possess any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions in relevant fields:
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)
- Any other recognized equivalent qualification with at least Credit or Merit, where applicable.
Screening Registration Period
The online Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration will run as follows:
- Opening Date: Monday, 27th July, 2026
- Closing Date: Monday, 31st August, 2026
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications may not be accepted.
Screening Fee
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 before completing their online application.
How to Apply
Applicants should follow the steps below to complete their registration:
Step 1
Visit the official AFUSTA Post-UTME application portal.
Step 2
Verify your eligibility using your JAMB Registration Number.
Step 3
Create an account or log in if you already have an existing account.
Step 4
Generate your payment invoice and pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through the approved payment platform.
Step 5
Complete the online screening application form by supplying the required personal and academic information.
Step 6
Submit the completed application form.
Step 7
Print your completed screening acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Important Notice to Applicants
The University emphasized that the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise is strictly online.
Candidates are not required to visit the University for any physical screening exercise.
Applicants are also reminded to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or equivalent) to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) through any accredited JAMB CBT Centre or JAMB Office.
Failure to upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS may affect candidates’ chances of being considered for admission.
Admission Processing
Candidates who are eventually offered admission are advised to regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS profile to promptly accept their admission offer and complete other admission formalities as required by both JAMB and the University.
