LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY [LASU] RELEASES DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Lagos State University (LASU) has reportedly released its Direct Entry (DE) admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session on the university’s admission portal.

The development is important for candidates who applied for admission into LASU through the Direct Entry route and have been awaiting updates on their admission status.

Eligible applicants are advised to log in to the university’s admission screening portal to check whether their admission status has been updated.

How to Check LASU Direct Entry Admission Status for 2026/2027

Candidates can follow these steps to check their admission status on the LASU school portal:

1. Visit the official LASU admission screening portal: https://services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php
2. Enter the login details required by the portal.
3. Log in to access your admission screening dashboard.
4. Check for your admission status or any new admission-related notification.
5. Follow any additional instructions displayed on the portal.

Candidates should ensure that they enter the correct details when logging in. If they experience difficulties accessing the portal, they should consult the university’s official website or contact the appropriate admissions office.

What Should LASU Direct Entry Applicants Do Next?

Candidates who applied through Direct Entry are advised to take the following steps:

• Check the LASU admission screening portal regularly for updates.
• Monitor their JAMB profiles and CAPS for admission-related notifications.
• Ensure that their academic qualifications and required results have been properly uploaded where applicable.
• Follow official instructions concerning admission acceptance, clearance and registration.
• Keep copies of relevant admission documents for future reference.

What If Your Admission Status Has Not Changed?

Candidates whose admission status has not been updated should remain patient and continue checking the official portals for further announcements.

Admission updates may be released in stages, and the absence of a new notification does not automatically mean that an application has been rejected.

Applicants should also distinguish between an update on the LASU school portal and an official admission offer reflected on JAMB CAPS. They should follow the instructions provided by both LASU and JAMB where applicable.

Important Notice to LASU Direct Entry Aspirants

Although the release of the Direct Entry admission list has been reported, candidates should rely on the university’s official portal for confirmation of their individual admission status.
