The Federal University Dutse (FUD), Jigawa State, has released the approved school fees schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university made this known through its official channels, informing students and prospective students to check the approved fees for their various programmes.
The release of the schedule is meant to help students, newly admitted candidates, parents and guardians know exactly how much is payable before the start of registration for the new session. By publishing the fees early, the university hopes that students will have enough time to plan and make their payments without last minute pressure.
WHAT THE SCHEDULE CONTAINS
• The approved school fees payable by students of the university.
• The breakdown of the charges for the different categories of students, such as newly admitted students and returning students, as provided by the university.
• The fees attached to the various faculties and programmes, where applicable.
• Other payment details as stated on the official schedule.
WHO SHOULD CHECK THE SCHEDULE
The schedule is important for the following categories of people:
• Newly admitted students who are preparing for acceptance, registration and clearance.
• Returning students who are preparing to register for the new session.
• Parents and guardians who are responsible for paying fees on behalf of their children and wards.
• Candidates who are expecting admission into the university.
WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD DO
Students and newly admitted candidates are advised to take the following steps:
1. Open the fee schedule and read it carefully to know the exact amount payable for their programme.
2. Compare the amount stated on the schedule with the amount displayed on the school portal before making payment.
3. Make payments only through the official school portal or the approved payment channels of the university.
4. Print and keep all payment receipts safe, as they will be needed for registration and clearance.
5. Complete payment within the period stated by the university to avoid problems with registration.
6. Report any payment issue to the appropriate office of the university immediately, with proof of payment attached.
WARNING AGAINST UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS
Students and parents are advised to rely only on the official channels of the university for information on fee payment. They should avoid paying money into any account or to any individual not authorised by the university, as the management will not be responsible for payments made through unofficial channels.
APPEAL TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Parents and guardians are encouraged to read the schedule carefully with their children and wards, and to support them in making payments on time. They are also advised to share this information with other students who may not be aware that the schedule has been released.
