SUMMIT UNIVERSITY, OFFA GETS NUC APPROVAL FOR NURSING & MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE PROGRAMME

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved Bachelor degree programmes in Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) for Summit University, Offa, popularly known as SUN-Offa.

The university made this known in a notice signed by its Acting Registrar, Mustapha Abayomi Kadiri, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and Management. The notice was addressed to the entire members of the university community.

According to the notice, the Vice-Chancellor and Management are happy to inform the university community that the NUC has approved the two Bachelor degree programmes. The announcement was made with expressions of gratitude to God.

The approved programmes are:

• Bachelor of Nursing Science

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)

ADMISSION INTO THE NEW PROGRAMMES

The university stated that, with this approval, it will immediately commence admission into the two highly anticipated programmes. The programmes will be offered in the Lateefat Gbajabiamila College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
