PLATEAU STATE POLYTECHNIC (PLAPOLY) RELEASES FIRST BATCH ADMISSION LIST FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, has released the first batch of its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. The institution made this known through its official channels, informing candidates who applied for admission into its various programmes to check their status.

The release of the list follows the admission screening exercise carried out by the institution for candidates who applied to study at the polytechnic in the 2026/2027 session. After the exercise, the management reviewed the results and selected successful candidates based on the approved admission requirements and the available spaces in each programme.

The first batch contains the names of candidates who have been offered admission so far. Candidates who participated in the screening exercise are therefore advised to check the list carefully to confirm whether their names appear.

WHAT THE LIST CONTAINS

• The names of candidates offered admission in the first batch.

• The programmes and departments for which the candidates were admitted.

• Other details as provided by the institution on the official list.

WHAT SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES SHOULD DO

Candidates whose names appear on the list are advised to take the following steps:

1. Confirm that their names and programmes of admission are correctly stated.

2. Accept the admission offer on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), where required.

3. Follow the instructions of the polytechnic on the payment of the acceptance fee and school fees.

4. Complete the clearance and registration process within the time stated by the management.

5. Keep all receipts and documents safe, as they will be needed during clearance.

Candidates are reminded that failure to complete the required steps on time may result in the loss of the admission offer.

WHAT CANDIDATES WHO DID NOT SEE THEIR NAMES SHOULD DO

Candidates who do not see their names on the first batch list should not lose hope. Admission lists are usually released in batches, so more names are expected to be added in the coming days. Such candidates are advised to keep checking the school’s official channels for the next batches.

WARNING AGAINST FRAUDSTERS

The management of the polytechnic also advised candidates and parents to rely only on the official channels of the institution and JAMB for information about admission. Candidates should avoid dealing with fraudsters or so-called agents who may demand money in exchange for admission, as admission is given strictly on merit.

APPEAL TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Parents and guardians are encouraged to support their children and wards through the admission process, and to share this information with other candidates who may not be aware that the list has been released.
