BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY RELEASES JUPEB ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi, now known as Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University (MOAUM), has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The JUPEB programme provides qualified candidates with an opportunity to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 Level without sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The sale of application forms commenced on 15th August, 2026, while applications will close on 30th November, 2026.
About the JUPEB Programme
The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and established by a consortium of partner universities, including:
- University of Lagos (UNILAG)
- University of Ilorin (UNILORIN)
- University of Benin (UNIBEN)
- University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)
- University of Uyo (UNIUYO)
- University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)
- Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)
- Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)
- Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)
- Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
The programme runs for one academic session, after which successful candidates become eligible for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level in Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University and over 85 JUPEB-affiliated universities across Nigeria.
Admission Requirements
Interested applicants must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- No UTME/JAMB score is required for admission into the JUPEB programme.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are to complete their application online by following the steps below:
- Visit the university portal at www.bsum.edu.ng.
- Under the Applications section, select the JUPEB menu.
- Click Start Application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000.
- Return to the portal and click Continue Application.
- Complete and print the application form.
- Submit the printed application form together with:
- O’Level result(s)
- Certificate of Origin/Indigene Certificate
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Two recent passport photographs
- Evidence of payment
Applications should be submitted to the JUPEB Office, Western Wing of the university.
