REV. FR. MOSES ORSHIO ADASU UNIVERSITY, MAKURDI EXTENDS POST-UTME/DE SCREENING REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (MOAUM) has announced a further extension of the registration deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Online Screening Exercise.

According to the university, the screening registration, which was previously extended to Monday, 31st August, 2026, will now remain open until Friday, 25th September, 2026.

The extension was approved to accommodate candidates affected by the recent release of IJMB results, the expected release of the 2026 NECO results, and the JAMB Institutional Transfer deadline scheduled for 7th September, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:

• Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
• Choose Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi as their first-choice institution or complete a change of institution to MOAUM through JAMB.
• Possess at least five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Minimum UTME Scores by Faculty

Candidates must also meet the following programme-specific cut-off marks:

• 150 and above – Faculty of Education
• 160 and above – Faculties of Administration and Management, Arts, Environmental Sciences, Science (excluding Computer Science, Biochemistry and Microbiology), Social Sciences, and Technology & Industrial Studies
• 180 and above – Faculties of Architecture and Communication & Media Studies, as well as Computer Science
• 200 and above – Microbiology, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Biochemistry
• 220 and above – Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), Medical Laboratory Science, and Radiography & Radiation Science
• 240 and above – MBBS and Law (LL.B.)

Registration Procedure

Eligible candidates should complete their registration by following these steps:

1. Visit the university portal at www.portal.bsum.edu.ng.
2. Click on the Admission menu and select Post-UTME/DE Verification.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number for verification.
4. Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 through the university’s payment platform.
5. Return to the portal and complete the online application form.
6. Print the completed application form for future reference.

Important Information

Candidates should note the following:

• All UTME and Direct Entry applicants must upload their O’Level and A’Level results (where applicable) on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the admission process.
• Candidates who applied for B.Sc. Mass Communication are advised to change to other programmes within the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
• Applicants for BN Nursing Science are encouraged to change to other science-based programmes, particularly those offered in the Faculty of Science and the College of Health Sciences.
• Candidates who applied for Vocational and Technical Education should change to programmes in the Faculty of Technology and Industrial Studies, especially Industrial Technology.
• Applicants are advised to regularly visit the university portal for updates and further admission instructions.
