SOUTHERN DELTA UNIVERSITY, OZORO (SDU) RELEASES POST-UTME SCREENING SCHEDULE FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Southern Delta University, Ozoro has released the official timetable for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for candidates who selected the institution as their First Choice during the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to the university, the screening exercise is strictly for candidates who have successfully purchased the institution’s 2026/2027 Post-UTME application form.

SCREENING DATE

The Post-UTME screening exercise has been scheduled to hold as follows:

Monday, 17th August 2026 – Friday, 21st August 2026

Time: 9:00 a.m. daily

Venue: Convocation Arena, Southern Delta University, Ozoro

Candidates are advised to arrive at the venue early to ensure a smooth screening process.

SCREENING SCHEDULE BY FACULTY

Monday, 17th August 2026

The following faculties are scheduled for screening:

• Faculty of Arts
• Faculty of Agriculture
• Faculty of Law
• Faculty of Communication and Media Studies

Tuesday, 18th August 2026

The following faculties will be screened:

• Faculty of Engineering
• Faculty of Environmental Sciences

Wednesday, 19th August 2026

Candidates from the following faculties are expected to appear:

• Faculty of Computing
• Faculty of Sciences

Thursday, 20th August 2026

The screening exercise will continue with:

• Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences

Friday, 21st August 2026

Candidates from the following faculties will conclude the screening exercise:

• Faculty of Administration and Management
• Faculty of Social Sciences

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

Only candidates who:

• Selected Southern Delta University, Ozoro as their First Choice Institution; and
• Successfully purchased the university’s 2026/2027 Post-UTME application form

will be eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

Applicants are advised to appear on the date assigned to their respective faculties and ensure they comply with all screening guidelines issued by the university.

PREPARATIONS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The university management has directed all relevant faculties, departments, units and personnel involved in the admission process to make the necessary preparations for a successful conduct of the screening exercise.
