PLATEAU STATE POLYTECHNIC RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi hereby invites suitably qualified candidates who sat for JAMB UTME for the post UTME screening exercise into the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Candidates who chose Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi as their first-choice institution and scored up to 100 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified to apply. However, candidates who did not choose Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi during the 2026 UTME registration can visit any JAMB approved CBT Centre or JAMB office to effect change of Institution to Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi.”
New Programmes Granted Approval
All prospective candidates and the general public are to note that in addition to the existing programmes, the National Board for Technical Education has granted approval for the Institution to commence the following new programmes in the 2026/2027 Session.

ND Procurement and Supply Chain Management
ND Surveying and Geoinformatics
ND Architectural Technology
ND Renewable Energy Technology
ND Insurance
ND Law
ND Agricultural Technology
Academic Requirements
”Candidates must have at least 5 credits in the relevant subjects in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB ordinary level results.”
All candidates are to make sure they upload their O’level results on JAMB website before being offered admission.
Procedures for Post UTME Registration
”Candidates must begin with the capture of their Bio – Data through the Polytechnic website www.apply.plapolyportal.com, and select, (I want to make a fresh application, I have a JAMB Result) and fill the online form to create a profile.
Note that the system will automatically generate an RRR slip with the Polytechnic Logo for onward payment of a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.) only through the various channels listed for payment either at any commercial Bank, USSD, Credit Cards or online mobile wallet etc.
Screening Timeline: The screening exercise will commence on Monday, 13th July to Friday, 7th August, 2026.
Documents Required for Uploading
”The following documents are to be scanned and uploaded by candidates on the profile created as they Register for the screening:”
i. Passport Photograph
ii. Signature
iii. 2026 JAMB Result
iv. O’level result
v. Birth Certificate
vi. Indigene Certificate
Successful candidates will be admitted once qualified. Candidates are to always check their profiles with JAMB to see if they have been offered admission.”
