AMINU SALEH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, AZARE IMPLEMENTS DIAL-MANDATE POLICY; RELEASES COMPREHENSIVE DEGREE ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to inform the general public especially prospective students that following the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) collaborative guidelines, Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), has released its newly structured admission and progression guidelines for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Admission Guidelines & Policy Changes:
Direct Entry (300 Level): All NCE holders with low grades are now eligible for direct admission into 300 Level degree programmes.
UTME Exemption: UTME Examinations are no longer required for admission into regular NCE programmes.
Registration Verification: Prospective candidates must obtain O’Level verification codes, generate JAMB profile codes, and complete registration via approved CBT Centres or Institution Professional Registration Centres (IPRCs).
Year One Primacy: Fresh admissions into NCE and Degree programmes will primarily be targeted at NCE Year One. New admissions into 100 and 200 Level degree programmes have been discontinued. Existing students in these tracks will continue uninterrupted.
O’Level Requirements: NCE candidates must possess a minimum of four (4) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus relevant subjects.
Career Advancement Benefits: Upon graduation from the degree programmes, candidates gain civil service employment advantages, starting on Level 9 instead of the typical Level 8 for regular university graduates.
