COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, LAFIA RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The general public and College Community are hereby informed that the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia, Nasarawa State has officially commenced registration for the Post UTME Screening exercise for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

​The institution has opened applications for a wide range of National Diploma (ND) programmes for the upcoming session. The available courses are listed below:

​xi. Agricultural Technology.

​xiii. Animal Health and Production;

​xiv. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology

​xvi. Civil Engineering Technology

​Eligibility

​To qualify for the screening exercise, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

​Candidates must have chosen the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia as their 1st choice.

​Candidates must have scored one hundred (100) and above in the 2026 JAMB UTME.

​Note on Choice of Institution: Candidates who originally chose the College as their 2nd or 3rd choice are strongly advised to execute a change of institution to make the College their 1st choice before they can be considered for admission. Similarly, individuals who did not select the College at all but are interested in the listed programmes are advised to effect a change of Institution/Course to the College.

​How to Apply

​Eligible candidates are required to complete their registration online through the following process:

​Log into the official College website at www.coastlafia.edu.ng.

​Create an application account on the portal.

​Make a non-refundable application payment of N2,000.00 only.

​Similarly, the following programmes are also available at the Higher National Diploma (HND) for admission in the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The programmes are as follows:

​ii. Agribusiness Management.

​iii. Crop Production Technology.

​iv. Pest Management Technology.

​v. Horticulture and Landscape Technology.

​vi. Animal Health Technology

​vii. Animal Production Technology

​viii. Fisheries Technology

​ix. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology Option)

​x. Agricultural Extension and Management.

​Admission Requirement

​Candidates for HND programmes are to apply by log into the College website www.coastlafia.edu.ng for admission requirement of the above listed programmes and to pay the sum of N6,000.00 only.

​Portal Opening Date: The application portal opens for applicants on the 8th June, 2026.

​Closing Date: Registration officially closes on the 30th September, 2026.
