UNIVERSITY OF CALABAR (UNICAL) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University of Calabar invites applications from suitable JAMB UTME candidates for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. Interested candidates are to be guided by the following information.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION
The following categories of JAMB UTME candidates are eligible to apply:
a. Candidates who selected the University of Calabar as their first choice in the 2026/2027 JAMB UTME, who chose any of the programmes, and scored a minimum of 150.
b. Interested candidates who did not choose the University of Calabar as their first choice but wish to study at the University of Calabar and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026/2027 JAMB UTME.
OPENING OF PORTAL / REGISTRATION
Registration will start on Monday, 1st June 2026, when the portal will be open for that purpose. Deadline for registration is 31st July 2026.
NEW PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
(Note: We have phased out the use of E-transact and scratch card PINs for a seamless online experience.)
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Candidates are to make a Non-refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000.00) only through our secure online portal.
Please follow these steps:
LOG IN: Visit the official portal at https://postutme.unical.edu.ng.
VALIDATION: On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration Number in the box provided to verify your details and eligibility.
REGISTRATION: Upon successful verification, fill out the required registration details. You must provide a valid email address and an active personal phone number.
PAYMENT: Proceed to make the screening fee payment of ₦2,000.00 online using any ATM Card, Bank Transfer, or USSD via the Payment platform.
SUBMIT & PRINT: After successful payment, confirm your entries, click on SUBMIT, and print out the completed registration slip.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Valid Contacts: Submit a valid email address and personal phone number in your application.
NOTE: The University of Calabar will not be responsible for any unsuccessful applications as a result of invalid email address(es) and telephone number(s).
Medicine & Surgery: The University of Calabar, in compliance with the ‘CCMAS’, does not accept O’Level results at TWO SITTINGS FOR MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
False Declarations: THERE WILL BE AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATIONS OF UTME SCORES, ORDINARY LEVEL RESULT GRADES (WAEC, NECO, OR NABTEB), AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN. SUCH CANDIDATES SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
