FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, OFFA RELEASES FULL-TIME HND ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal Polytechnic, Offa invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The HND Full-Time programme is structured as a two-year course leading to the award of a Higher National Diploma.

​Entry Requirements

​The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are as follows:

​National Diploma (ND) Requirements: Candidates are required to possess a National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID) in their chosen programme at a grade not below LOWER CREDIT classification from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic, Monotechnic, or Innovation Enterprise Institution.

​O’Level Requirements: SSC or GCE O’Level with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language & Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.

​Technical Alternatives: A National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with a credit level pass in a trade, plus four (4) relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics.

​Industrial Training (IT): Candidates are required to have one year post-National Diploma Industrial Training experience.

​Pass Grade Consideration: Candidates with a PASS grade at the ND/NID are eligible for consideration for admission provided they have a minimum of two (2) years post-Industrial Training experience.

​Transcript Submission: Every applicant for the Polytechnic HND Programme who did not obtain his/her ND from The Federal Polytechnic, Offa is required to forward a copy of his/her National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar within eight (8) weeks from the date of this advertisement.

​How to Apply

​Candidates must follow the application procedures outlined below to ensure their registration is processed successfully:

​Institution Portal Access: To apply online for HND Full-Time programmes, candidates are to log on to the official polytechnic portal at https://www.fedpoffaonline.edu.ng

​Application Fee Payment: Complete the procedure for the payment of application fees of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000) only.

​Form Completion: Complete the necessary documentation and registration steps directly on the portal to apply for admission into The Federal Polytechnic, Offa.

​Important Guidelines & Online Screening Procedure

​Name Synchronization: All candidates must write their names in full with their Surname first, exactly as it appears on their certificates and National Identification Number (NIN).

​Communication: All candidates must maintain a personal, active email address for communication.

​Credentials Upload: All candidates are to upload their results, certificates, and credentials directly onto the polytechnic portal.

​Security Form Submission: Candidates must fill out the security form on the portal, print out the screening slip along with the security form, and submit them personally to the Polytechnic Security Office.

​Warning: Failure to comply with this registration procedure leads to immediate disqualification of the candidate. Any false or wrong data entry will result in automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery, and false claims shall lead to the forfeiture of admission. Successful candidates will undergo a mandatory verification of their certificates.
