The Management of Mbagen College of Health Technology, Abwa, located in the Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State, formally announces that the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is currently ongoing.

I. ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

We offer specialized training in four key areas of healthcare. Each program is designed to meet national regulatory standards and provide students with immediate employability.

1. National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) – 3 Years

• Target: Students aiming for frontline clinical and administrative roles in primary healthcare.

• Standard Entry: Five (5) O-Level credits (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in no more than two sittings.

• Professional Entry: Holders of a Junior Community Health Worker (JCHEW) certificate with at least two years of post-qualification experience and a valid practice license from the CHPRBN are eligible to apply.

2. Certificate in Community Health (JCHEW) – 2 Years

• Target: Individuals seeking foundational training in community health services.

• Entry Requirements: At least three (3) credit passes in English, Mathematics, and Biology, plus passes in two other science subjects (WASCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO) at no more than two sittings.

3. Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – 3 Years

• Target: Aspiring laboratory professionals focused on diagnostics and clinical testing.

• Entry Requirements: Minimum of five (5) O-Level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics in no more than two sittings.

4. National Diploma in Health Information Management (ND-HIM) – 2 Years

• Target: Students interested in healthcare data, medical records, and hospital informatics.

• Entry Requirements: Five (5) credit passes at SSCE level in English, Mathematics, Biology (or Health Science), Chemistry, and Physics in no more than two sittings.
