This is to officially inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and selected the College of Education, Akwanga as their first choice institution, that the Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session has been scheduled to commence on Monday, 21st July, 2025.

The Campusinfo team also wishes to state that candidates who scored a minimum of 100 marks and above in the UTME examination are eligible to take part in the screening process. This marks an important step in the admission process and provides an opportunity for eligible candidates to demonstrate their qualifications for their chosen programmes at the College.

To participate in the screening exercise, candidates are required to visit the official website of the College via www.coeakwanga.edu.ng to create a profile account. Upon successful account creation, candidates should proceed to generate an invoice and make a payment of Two Thousand, Three Hundred and Twenty-Two Naira, Fifty Kobo (N2,322.50), inclusive of VAT, through the Central Billing System (CBS). This fee covers the cost of the screening process and other administrative charges.

After completing the online application and payment, candidates must print out their BIO-DATA FORM, attach it to photocopies of relevant academic credentials (including UTME result slip, O’level results, birth certificate or declaration of age, local government identification, etc.), and proceed to the Admissions Office of the College of Education, Akwanga for physical screening and documentation.

Campusinfo reports that additionally, prospective students who did not initially select the College of Education, Akwanga as their first choice but are now interested in pursuing their studies at the institution are encouraged to do so. Such candidates must first effect a change of institution on the JAMB portal and make the College their first choice before proceeding with the screening registration process.

Candidates are reminded that the screening exercise will run from Monday, 21st July 2025 and will close on Friday, 29th August 2025. All applicants are strongly advised to complete their registration and appear for screening within the stipulated timeframe, as late applications may not be considered.

The management of the College emphasizes the importance of compliance with all guidelines and encourages all candidates to provide accurate information and valid documents to avoid disqualification. Further updates and details regarding the screening process may be published on the College website.
