UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA (UNIABUJA) RELEASES POST-UTME SCREENING RESULTS FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
📢 University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Results Now Available
The management of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is pleased to inform all prospective students that the results of the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise are now ready and accessible online.
If you applied for admission into UNIABUJA for the 2025/2026 academic session, you can now log in to your personal application portal to view your score. This is an important milestone on your journey to becoming a student of our great university.
Why This Matters
The Post-UTME screening result is one of the key factors used in deciding who will receive admission offers. Your score, along with your JAMB UTME result and O’Level performance, helps the admission committee determine eligibility for each programme.
Seeing your result early allows you to plan ahead. Whether you scored above the cut-off for your chosen course or you are considering a change of programme, knowing your status now gives you time to make the right decisions.
How to Check Your Result
Checking your result is simple. Just follow these steps carefully:
1. Visit the Official Portal
Go to 👉 https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng using a phone, tablet, or computer with internet access.
2. Log In to Your Account
Enter the email address and password you used when you first created your application profile.
If you have forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions to reset it.
3 Locate the Post-UTME Result Section
Once logged in, click on “Check Screening Result” or a similar link on your dashboard. Your score and any remarks will appear immediately.
4. Print or Save Your Result
For future reference, print a copy or save the result page as a PDF. You will likely need it during departmental screening or clearance.
Keep Your Login Details Safe
Your application portal contains personal and academic information. For your own security:
Do not share your password with friends or classmates.
Keep your login details written down in a secure place.
Avoid checking your result on public computers unless absolutely necessary.
Protecting your credentials ensures that no one can tamper with your admission process.
What Happens Next
1. Monitor the University Portal
Admission lists will be released in batches after the Post-UTME results have been reviewed. Keep checking the same portal regularly for updates.
2. Check the JAMB CAPS Portal
In addition to the University site, log in to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng to monitor your status on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
When you see “Admission in Progress” or “Offered,” you can accept the offer right there.
3. Prepare Your Documents
Successful candidates will need their Post-UTME result printout, JAMB result slip, O’Level certificates, birth certificate or age declaration, and recent passport photographs during clearance.
Start gathering these documents early to avoid last-minute stress.
Helpful Tips for All Applicants
Stay Informed: Check your email and SMS regularly. UNIABUJA often sends important notices directly to applicants.
Stay Positive: If your score is lower than expected, don’t panic. Cut-off marks vary by department, and supplementary admission opportunities sometimes arise.
Avoid Scammers: The University of Abuja does not ask applicants to pay money to individuals for admission. Anyone requesting payment outside official channels is a fraudster.
Words of Encouragement
Reaching this stage is already a big achievement. Applying to university, preparing for UTME, and sitting for the Post-UTME screening are not small tasks. Whether you are offered admission in the first list or later, remember that dedication and patience are key.
The University of Abuja community—lecturers, administrative staff, and fellow students—is eager to welcome new members. From our serene main campus at Gwagwalada to our vibrant student associations and research opportunities, UNIABUJA offers an environment where you can learn, grow, and thrive.
Final Reminder

On behalf of the entire UNIABUJA family, we congratulate all candidates for reaching this point. We wish you the very best as you move closer to becoming proud students of the University of Abuja. May
this be the beginning of a rewarding academic journey.
✨ Good luck, future UNIABUJA Lions!
