SA’ADU ZUNGUR UNIVERSITY RELEASES THIRD BATCH ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Sa’adu Zungur University, Gadau (SAZU), Bauchi State, has officially announced the release of its Third Batch Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. This comes as great news to applicants who have been eagerly waiting for updates after the release of the first and second batches.

According to the university management, all candidates whose names appear on the Third Batch list are invited for Physical Screening as part of the final admission clearance into the institution’s various undergraduate programmes.

✅ Screening Details

Requirement Details
Screening Start Date Monday, 20th October 2025
Screening Closing Date Friday, 24th October 2025
Venue Respective campuses hosting each programme

All shortlisted candidates are expected to adhere strictly to this schedule, as failure to complete screening within the specified period may lead to forfeiture of admission.

🔎 How to Check Admission Status

Candidates are to:

  1. Visit the SAZU official admission portal via www.sazu.edu.ng.

  2. Login using their JAMB Registration Number.

  3. Navigate to Admission Status.

  4. Check if they have been offered admission under the Third Batch List.

  5. Proceed to print the admission notification slip if admitted.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to check their names carefully and follow further instructions provided on the portal.

📚 Screening Requirements

All candidates are expected to report for the physical screening with both original and photocopies of the following documents:

  1. Computer printout of SSCE result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).

  2. Original JAMB Result Slip.

  3. Online Screening Acknowledgment Slip from the SAZU portal.

  4. Recent Passport Photographs (at least four copies).

  5. Scratch Cards for verification of O’Level results (WAEC/NECO).

  6. Local Government Area (LGA) Identification Letter (if requested).

  7. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.

  8. JAMB Change of Institution Slip (if SAZU was not first choice initially).

Candidates are strongly advised to arrange their documents neatly inside a file jacket, clearly labeled with their name, JAMB registration number, and programme of study. This will make the screening process faster and more organized.

⚠️ Important Note on JAMB O’level Upload

The university emphasized that any candidate who has not uploaded their O’level results on the JAMB CAPS portal will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise. The upload must be done at a JAMB-approved CBT centre before arrival.

Failure to meet this requirement automatically disqualifies a candidate from being admitted, as JAMB will not approve such admission.

✅ After Successful Screening – What Next?

After completing physical screening at the campus:

  • Candidates are to check their JAMB profile 48–72 hours later.

  • Login to JAMB CAPS.

  • Click “Accept Admission” to confirm their admission.

  • Print JAMB Admission Letter.

  • Return to the SAZU portal to complete school registration.

Important Reminder:
Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS will not be able to access the SAZU admission portal for registration. Their admission may also be withdrawn by JAMB after a certain period.

🏫 Screening Venues by Campuses

SAZU operates on different campuses, and screening will take place where each programme is domiciled. Candidates are expected to check their screening venues via the university portal or official social media channels.

  • Gadau Campus – Sciences & Medical Programmes

  • Misau Campus – Management & Social Sciences

  • Bauchi Campus – Education & Arts Programmes

Candidates should go to the correct campus where their departments are located to avoid delays.

✅ Tips for a Smooth Screening Experience

  • Arrive early to avoid long queues.

  • Dress decently and responsibly.

  • Bring along a writing material (pen).
