Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

Open to BMLS graduates with a Third Class degree from approved universities

Applicants must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
Master’s Degree (MSc)

Applicants must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division

PGD holders must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5-point scale

Candidates with FMLSCN qualifications may apply for Medical Laboratory Science programmes
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the proposed field of study

A minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale is required
Duration of the Programmes
The length of each programme depends on the level of study:

PGD: 2 to 3 semesters

MSc: 3 to 5 semesters

PhD: 6 to 9 semesters
