The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the 2025 NECO GCE results, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates who sat for the examination across the country.

Candidates can now check their results online by visiting the NECO result portal. To access the result, candidates are required to provide their examination number and the result-checking token purchased from NECO-approved vendors.

Follow the steps below to easily check your NECO result online:

Step 1: Visit the NECO Result Portal

• Go to the official NECO result checking portal:

Step 2: Enter Your Examination Details

• Select your Examination Type (e.g. NECO GCE or NECO SSCE)
• Enter the Year of Examination
• Input your Examination Number

Step 3: Enter Result-Checking Token

• Scratch your NECO result-checking card
• Enter the Token Number in the space provided

Step 4: Click “Check Result”

• Your result will be displayed on the screen
• Carefully review your subjects and grades

Step 5: Print or Save Your Result

• You can print the result or save it as a PDF for future use
