LASU-JAC Suspends Strike; Academic Activities Resume Wednesday
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of staff unions at Lagos State University (LASU) has officially suspended its ongoing strike. As a result, academic activities are set to resume on Wednesday, 13 August 2025.
Confirming the development, the Students’ Union Public Relations Officer, Comrade Asikoto Olamide Mauyon, stated that the suspension was agreed upon by the unions, paving the way for the resumption of lectures and other academic engagements.
Campusinfo also gathered that the Senate of the University will convene to release a revised second-semester examination timetable in preparation for the continuation of the academic calendar.
