IBRAHIM BADAMASI BABANGIDA UNIVERSITY (IBBU) REOPENS POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, wishes to inform all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who applied for admission into the University for the 2025/2026 academic session, but were unable to complete their online Post-UTME/DE screening, that the screening portal has now been re-opened.

This reopening provides another chance for candidates who, for one reason or another, missed the initial window for screening to complete their registration process and remain eligible for admission consideration into the University’s undergraduate programmes.

🗓️ Reopening Period

The online Post-UTME/DE screening portal will be accessible from Saturday, 25th October 2025 to Friday, 31st October 2025.

During this period, all concerned candidates are expected to complete their online registration and submit the required information. After the closing date, the University portal will be permanently closed, and no further extensions will be granted.

📣 Important Announcement to All Candidates

The University emphasizes that this reopening serves as the final opportunity for candidates who have not yet completed their screening.

All UTME and Direct Entry applicants who selected IBB University, Lapai as their most preferred institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are strongly advised to take advantage of this grace period. Failure to do so means automatic forfeiture of the admission process for the current session.

🎯 Eligibility and Requirements

Candidates who fall into the following categories are eligible to use this reopened portal:

  1. Those who applied to IBBU Lapai as their first choice during the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry exercise.

  2. Candidates who have not completed or submitted their Post-UTME/DE online screening form.

  3. Applicants who have uploaded their O’Level or A’Level results (depending on category) to the JAMB portal.

Candidates are also advised to ensure that:

  • Their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) are properly uploaded on the JAMB CAPS.

  • Their JAMB registration details correspond accurately with their screening information.

  • They make payment of the required screening fee using any of the approved payment methods available on the University portal.
