FEDERAL COLLEGE OF FISHERIES AND MARINE TECHNOLOGY, LAGOS RELEASES ND ADMISSION FORM FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION


This is to inform the general public, particularly suitably qualified candidates and prospective students, that the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT), Lagos, is now accepting applications for admission into its various full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

AVAILABLE ND COURSES

Candidates can apply for admission into the following National Diploma (ND) programmes:

ND Marine Engineering

ND Nautical Science

ND Maritime Transport and Business Management

ND Fisheries Technology

ND Computer Science

ND Mechanical Engineering

ND Science Laboratory Technology

ND Hydrology and Water Resources Management

ND Oceanography and Fisheries Science

ND Industrial and Labour Relations

ND Public Administration

These programmes are carefully designed to equip students with technical, theoretical, and practical knowledge in their chosen fields, preparing them for successful careers in the marine and maritime industries, science, administration, and technology sectors.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

O’Level Requirements:

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations:

Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)

General Certificate Examination (GCE)

National Examination Council (NECO)

National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)

Note: Candidates are advised to carefully review the specific O’Level subject combinations required for their intended course of study before proceeding with the application.

UTME Requirements:

In addition to the O’Level requirements, candidates must:

Have selected the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology (FCFMT) as their Most Preferred Institution during the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME registration.

Attain a minimum UTME score of 100.

Ensure their O’Level results are duly uploaded on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal for proper admission consideration.
