The Directorate of Degree Programme at the College of Education, Afaha Nsit, has issued a formal directive outlining the compulsory steps for all shortlisted 300 and 400-level students participating in the 2025/2026 Teaching Practice exercise. To ensure you receive your official posting letter and begin your primary assignment without delay, you must complete the following administrative requirements.


Step-by-Step Procedure for Posting

Students are advised to follow these steps in the exact order listed to maintain a smooth transition to their assigned schools:

1. Registration and ICT Clearance

  • Complete your full school fees payment for the current session.

  • Perform your course registration at the ICT center.

2. Teaching Practice Fee Payment

  • Pay the mandatory Teaching Practice fee of ₦10,000.00.

  • Payments must be made into the following designated operations account:

    • Account Name: AKS College of Education Operations Account

    • Account Number: 1001173160

    • Bank: Keystone Bank

3. Receipt Exchange

  • Present your bank teller at the Bursary Department.

  • Exchange the teller for an official university receipt.

4. Directorate Clearance

Visit the Directorate of Degree to have your Clearance Card signed and stamped. You are required to present the following documents for verification:

  • Your original School Fee Receipt.

  • The Teaching Practice Fee Receipt.

  • A Clearance Form obtained from the Students’ Affairs Division.

5. Collection of Posting Letter

  • Take your stamped and signed Directorate Clearance Card to the Teaching Practice Unit.

  • Collect your official posting letter.

  • Final Deadline: All required payments and documentation must be finalized on or before 26th January, 2026.

  • Mandatory Status: No student will be assigned a posting without presenting formal clearance from the Bursary Department.
