Candidates who applied for admission into various undergraduate programmes of the University can now proceed to check their admission status, accept their offer, and begin the next stage of registration and clearance.

How to Check Your Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

All candidates are advised to visit the JAMB CAPS portal to confirm their admission status by following the simple steps below:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal:
   Go to https://www.jamb.gov.ng/efacility.

2. Log in:
   Use your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.

3. Locate ‘Check Admission Status’:
   On your dashboard, click on “Check Admission Status” and select your exam year (2025).

4. Access CAPS:
   Click “Access my CAPS” to enter the CAPS dashboard.

5. Check Admission:
   Under the Admission Status section, you’ll see whether you’ve been offered admission.

6. Accept or Reject the Offer:

Important Information for Admitted Candidates

All candidates who have been successfully admitted are required to carefully note the following:

• 1. Acceptance on JAMB CAPS is Mandatory:
  The University can only finalize your admission after you have accepted the offer on JAMB CAPS. Failing to do so means the system will not recognize your admission status.

• 2. O’ Level Result Upload:
  Candidates who have not yet uploaded their O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB) on the JAMB portal are strongly advised to do so immediately.
  This can be done at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre nationwide.

• 3. Payment of Acceptance Fee:

Some candidates often face challenges while trying to accept their admission on CAPS using mobile devices. If you are accessing JAMB CAPS on your phone and can only see the “Welcome” message without the full page, follow these steps:

• Use Google Chrome Browser.

• Tap the three-dot menu at the top right corner of your browser.

• Select “Desktop Site” to switch to desktop mode.

• Reload the page and you’ll now see the full CAPS options including “Admission Status” and “Accept/Reject Admission”.

After acceptance, it is strongly advised that candidates print out the JAMB Admission Letter immediately for official documentation.
