No fewer than 35 corps members currently undergoing the three-week orientation exercise at the Sagamu orientation camp, Ogun state, have been confirmed to have contracted the ravaging coronavirus.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker made the announcement on Thursday, August 5, saying some of those who tested positive have been taken to the isolation centers, while others are on home management.

He also expressed concerns that the state has witnessed a rise in cases of the virus since the beginning of August, with at least 7 to 16 cases per day.
