AGAIN: YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, YABA [YABATECH] RANKED BEST POLYTECHNIC IN NIGERIA

Yaba College of Technology has been ranked the best and number one Polytechnic in Nigeria again according to the webometrics ranking released July 2021. Congratulations to the Management team led by our amiable Rector Engr. Obafemi Owoseni OMOKUNGBE, the Staff; most especially the Staff of the Centre for Information Technology and Management for their professional input, and the entire Student of our great institution.

Webometrics ranking is based on Web contents Impact, top-cited researchers, and papers published on research and publication platforms online.

This is a Ranking of Higher Institutions of Learning. It uses both webometric and bibliometric (research)  indicators. The primary objective of the Ranking Web is to promote Open Access to the knowledge generated by Institutions. Yabatech has been able to implement strategies to improve her ranking through the increase in the quantity and quality of the web content.

Ranking Web started in 2004 (current is the 18th year of publication) with the aim to offer full coverage of Higher Education Institutions whatever the country or discipline involves. Currently ranked are 31 000 HEIs from more than 200 countries.

Editors of the Ranking Web are scientists working at one world-class public research institution with long experience in metrics-guided evaluation.
