The Management of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Ibusa, Delta State, has officially released an important administrative notice regarding the resumption schedule, registration timeline, and admission procedures for newly admitted (freshers) and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Official Resumption and Registration Timeline

To ensure an organized transition into the new academic year, the university administration has established a staggered resumption schedule for both freshers and returning students across all faculties:

* Resumption for Fresh Students (Freshers): Sunday, 18th October, 2026.

* Orientation and Registration Window for Freshers: Monday, 19th October – Friday, 23rd October, 2026.

* Resumption for Returning Students: Sunday, 25th October, 2026.

Newly admitted students are expected to arrive on campus on Sunday, 18th October, 2026, to settle into their residential accommodations ahead of the physical verification and course registration exercise starting on Monday, 19th October, 2026.

Mandatory Directives on JAMB CAPS Admission Acceptance

All prospective candidates who applied for admission into Admiralty University of Nigeria, Ibusa for the 2026/2027 academic session are strongly advised to check their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.

Candidates offered provisional admission must complete the following steps to formally validate their enrollment:

* Log into the official JAMB e-Facility portal using their registered credentials.

* Access the “CAPS” menu and navigate to “Admission Status”.

* Accept the provisional admission offer to enable the university to process their official admission files.

* Print their official JAMB Admission Letter and Original Result Slip, which will be required during physical registration and departmental clearance on campus.
