This update specifically targets fresh students who have already completed the preliminary admission acceptance process on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Prerequisites for Fresh Student Portal Registration

Before proceeding with the university portal registration, candidates must ensure they have met the following initial criteria:

* JAMB CAPS Acceptance: Candidates must have formally accepted their admission offer on the JAMB CAPS portal.

* JAMB Admission Letter: Candidates must have successfully printed their official JAMB Admission Letter, as it contains vital details needed for subsequent institutional clearance.

Step-by-Step Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure

Candidates who meet the preliminary requirements are instructed to complete their institutional acceptance and pay the required fee by following these steps:

* Access the University Portal: Visit the official portal at https://portal.edouniversity.edu.ng/.

* Initial Login Credentials: Log in using your default credentials where both the Student ID and Password are your JAMB Registration Number (e.g., Student ID: 202660000001BD | Password: 202660000001BD).

* Password Update: Upon your first successful login, the portal will prompt you to create a secure, personalized password.

* Accept Offer & Update Records: Navigate to the user dashboard, click on “Accept Offer”, and fill in all required personal and academic information accurately.

* Process Payment: After updating your profile records, click on “Proceed to Payment” to execute the online Acceptance Fee payment.

* Print Confirmation Documents: Once payment is confirmed successful, generate and print your Successful Admission Letter and Conditions for Admission Letter for official record-keeping and upcoming physical clearance.
