KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY, KABBA (KSUK) RELEASES ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Kogi State University, Kabba (KSUK), has released its academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining the schedule for resumption, registration, lectures, continuous assessment, examinations, marking and result processing for both the First and Second Semesters.
The academic calendar was approved by the University Senate at its 16th Regular Meeting held on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
According to the approved calendar, the 2026/2027 academic session will be conducted across two semesters, with separate resumption and registration periods for newly admitted and returning students.
New students are scheduled to resume, register and participate in orientation from Monday, October 5 to Friday, October 16, 2026, while returning students are expected to resume, register and undergo orientation from Monday, October 12 to Friday, October 16, 2026.
Lectures for the First Semester will commence on Monday, October 19, 2026, and run through December before the Christmas and New Year break. Academic activities will resume in January 2027, leading to the First Semester examinations scheduled to take place from February 22 to March 5, 2027.
The Second Semester will commence in March 2027, with lectures, continuous assessment and Students’ Week activities taking place before the semester examinations scheduled for July 12 to July 23, 2027.

KSUK 2026/2027 FIRST SEMESTER ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The First Semester of the 2026/2027 academic session will begin with the resumption and registration of newly admitted and returning students.
Resumption, Registration and Orientation for New Students
October 5–16, 2026
Newly admitted students are expected to resume during this period for registration and orientation.
