The management of Federal University Wukari (FUWUKARI), Taraba State, has released an important update for candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the university, only candidates who have successfully completed all the required admission processes will be considered for admission into its undergraduate programmes.

Who Will Be Considered for Admission?

The university explained that all UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates must satisfy the following conditions before they can be considered for admission:

• Successfully upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
• Complete the Federal University Wukari online Post-UTME screening registration.
• Meet all approved admission requirements for their chosen course of study.

Candidates who have not completed these requirements are advised to do so immediately, as failure to comply may affect their admission status.

Verify Your Details

FUWUKARI also urged applicants to ensure that all information submitted during registration is complete and accurate.

Candidates should confirm that:

• Their O’Level results have been correctly uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
• Their personal information matches their official records.
• Their course selection is correct.
• All required documents have been submitted.

Providing false or incomplete information may lead to disqualification from the admission process.

Admission List to Be Released in September

The university further announced that the 2026/2027 admission list is expected to be released in September 2026, after the completion of the screening and verification process.

Candidates are encouraged to regularly check:

• The Federal University Wukari admission portal.
• Their JAMB CAPS profile.
• Official university communication channels for updates on admission.

Applicants who receive admission offers must promptly accept the offer on JAMB CAPS before proceeding with the university’s clearance and registration process.

Prospective students are advised to remain patient while the admission exercise is ongoing and ensure they have fulfilled every requirement needed for admission consideration.
