DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY, ABRAKA (DELSU) EXTENDS POST-UTME APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially announced an extension for the 2026/2027 UTME and Direct Entry online screening application deadline.
Prospective applicants now have until July 13, 2026, to complete their registration.
According to university officials, the extension was granted primarily to accommodate candidates who recently changed their institution of first choice to DELSU, ensuring they have sufficient time to finalize their online screening profiles.
Key Admission Requirements and Grading Criteria
The university management reiterated that the core admission parameters remain unchanged for this academic session:
Minimum Cut-Off Mark: Candidates must have a minimum score of 150 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible.
Screening Formula: Admission screening will be calculated using a composite grading system:
70% – JAMB UTME Score
30% – O’Level Results
Notice to Applicants
Candidates who are yet to complete their applications, alongside those who recently switched their first-choice institution to DELSU, are strongly advised to utilize this window and complete their online screening before the new July 13 deadline.
