UMARU MUSA YAR’ADUA UNIVERSITY (UMYU) RELEASES APPROVED DEPARTMENTAL CUT-OFF MARKS FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has officially released the approved cut-off marks for admission into its various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar and approved by the University Senate at its 131st Regular Meeting held on 10th June, 2026, the cut-off marks apply to all candidates seeking admission into the University’s full-time undergraduate programmes.
Below are the approved cut-off marks by faculty and programme.

Important Notice to Candidates
Candidates who selected Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) as their first-choice institution and meet the admission requirements are advised to:
- Upload their O’Level and other required credentials on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) through any accredited CBT centre or JAMB office.
- Regularly monitor the University’s admission updates and instructions.
- Ensure all required documents have been properly uploaded to avoid delays in the admission process.
