SOKOTO STATE UNIVERSITY (SSU) ISSUES NOTICE ON POSTPONEMENT OF THE 8TH COMBINED CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The Management of Sokoto State University wishes to formally bring to the attention of all graduating students, parents, guardians, alumni, esteemed invited guests, and members of the general public that the upcoming 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony, which was previously scheduled to take place, has been officially postponed.

​This difficult decision was reached following unforeseen circumstances and logistics that are completely beyond the control of the University Management.

​Next Steps and New Schedule

​We understand the immense preparation, excitement, and anticipation that surround this monumental milestone in the academic journeys of our students. Please be assured that this delay is temporary.

​New Date Announcement: A rescheduled date and a revised program of events for the convocation ceremony will be finalized and communicated in due course.

​Official Channels: The new schedule will be announced through the university’s official website, verified social media platforms, and mainstream media outlets as soon as the arrangements are locked in.

​The University Management deeply regrets any disruption, disappointment, or inconvenience this rescheduling may cause to our graduating classes, their families, and our distinguished guests who have already made travel or logistical arrangements.
