LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY, OJO [LASU] ACTIVATES UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION PORTAL FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Online Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission into 100 Level through UTME and 200 Level through Direct Entry (DE).

The screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates who wish to gain admission into LASU for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Who Can Apply?

LASU stated that candidates who selected the university as their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 195 and above are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.

Applicants must also be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2026.

The screening is open to:

• UTME candidates seeking 100-level admission
• Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking 200-level admission
• LASU Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) students who completed their programme successfully
• JUPEB and other Direct Entry applicants who selected LASU as first choice

However, LASU emphasized that only LASU Diploma qualifications are acceptable for Direct Entry admission, except NCE holders applying into Faculty of Education programmes.

Candidates of Lagos State origin who have completed verification with the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) will have their indigene claims automatically validated during screening.

Registration Deadline

LASU announced that the screening registration and payment window will last 21 days.

Registration opens: Wednesday, June 3, 2026
Registration closes: Tuesday, June 23, 2026 (12 midnight)
