The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially announced the commencement of registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The institution is inviting suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its various undergraduate programmes to participate in the screening exercise as part of the admission process for the new academic session.

According to a statement released by the university, registration for the screening exercise will begin on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, through the official FUNAAB admission portal. The exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic session.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

FUNAAB stated that the following categories of candidates are eligible to apply:

  • Candidates who selected the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 160 marks.
  • Direct Entry candidates who possess a minimum of Upper Credit or its equivalent qualification and selected FUNAAB as their first-choice institution.
  • Candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2026 UTME but did not initially choose FUNAAB as their first-choice institution, provided they complete a Change of Institution to FUNAAB before the close of registration.

The university emphasized that candidates who did not initially choose FUNAAB but wish to be considered for admission must effect the necessary change through JAMB before the screening registration deadline.

In addition, all applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, to qualify for admission consideration.

Eligible candidates are required to register through the university’s admission portal after making the necessary payments online.

The approved fees are:
