AZMAN UNIVERSITY, KANO RELEASE POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various undergraduate programmes at Azman University, Kano for the 2026/2027 academic session.

General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into Azman University, Kano, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE, NECO, WAEC, NABTEB, or equivalent examinations.
• The required credits must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
• Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of admission.
• Admission is open to all qualified candidates irrespective of religion, tribe, ethnicity, gender, or background.

UTME Admission Requirements (100 Level)

Candidates seeking admission through UTME must:

• Sit for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Obtain the approved JAMB cut-off mark for their chosen programme.
• Possess the required O’Level subjects relevant to their course of study.

All admissions into Azman University are processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Direct Entry Admission Requirements (200 Level)

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess:

• Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.
• At least two (2) A’Level passes in relevant subjects, OR
• National Diploma (ND) with credit passes from a recognized institution, OR
• A good first degree in another discipline.

Transfer Admission

The university has stated that transfer admissions will not be available until after the institution completes its first two years of operation.
