CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU UNIVERSITY (COOU) RELEASES POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, has officially announced the commencement of applications for admission into its Postgraduate Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The university invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into various postgraduate studies across its faculties and departments, aimed at advancing academic excellence, research development, and professional specialization.
AVAILABLE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
The institution offers the following postgraduate pathways:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Master of Science (M.Sc)
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
These programmes are available across approved disciplines within the university.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Applicants must satisfy any of the following:
- Possess the matriculation requirements of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University or any other recognized university.
- Hold at least a Third Class degree in any discipline.
- Candidates with acceptable professional qualifications such as HND, ACA, AIB, HMLT, or similar certifications may also apply.
- Applicants with Lower Credit in relevant qualifications must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience to be considered.
Master of Science (M.Sc)
Applicants must:
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics (for candidates who obtained O’Level after 2013).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
- Hold a PGD with at least a Credit level pass (CGPA 3.0/5.0 or 60%) where applicable.
- Professional Master’s degree holders must also meet the above academic requirements.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
Applicants must:
- Possess five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and one Science subject (as required by the School of Postgraduate Studies).
- Hold a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale or 60% weighted average score.

- Complete the online application form
- Upload all required academic credentials
- Make payment of the prescribed application fee
