David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Begins 2026/2027 Admission Exercise

David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences has officially announced the commencement of sales of admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The university invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various undergraduate and professional health science programmes.

10. Industrial and Medical Physics (B.Sc.)
11. Industrial and Medicinal Chemistry (B.Sc.)
12. Industrial Mathematics and Statistics (B.Sc.)
13. Biology/Biotechnology (B.Sc.)

Admission Requirements

To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates must:

• Choose DUFUHS as their first choice institution in JAMB
• Possess at least five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations
• Score a minimum of 150 and above in the 2025 UTME

Candidates who did not initially select the university as first choice but scored 150 and above are advised to carry out a change of institution through the JAMB portal before applying.

IJMB Opportunity for Non-JAMB Candidates

The university also announced that candidates who did not sit for JAMB can apply for the institution’s Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme.

The IJMB programme runs for one year and qualifies successful candidates for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level without writing UTME.

Method 1: Online Purchase

Candidates can visit the portal, click on the Admission Menu, select Online Application, and proceed to buy the Undergraduate Admission Form online.

Method 2: Purchase Through REMITA

Applicants can also:

• Visit any commercial bank nationwide
• Request payment for David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Undergraduate Application Form 2026/2027 on the REMITA platform
• Pay the sum of ₦10,000 only
• Obtain a payment slip containing a unique electronic PIN

Steps After Payment

After obtaining the e-PIN:

1. Visit the university portal
2. Select Online Application Undergraduate under the Admissions menu
3. Enter phone number and e-PIN
4. Complete the application form following the instructions provided
5. Print out the completed application form after submission
